When you register your software, the license will be stored in your config directory. Your container may also need continuous internet access to validate the license. Whether (and how!) this applies to docker containers is unclear. As of version 16.12.26, the Lite version prohibits running inside virtual machines. If you're using the "latest" version, the container will already auto-update (even without a restart). If you're using a specific version of the software, this will prevent Xeoma from auto-updating it if the container restarts. You should disable this feature in the user interface, and instead just rely on the container's version handling. Warning: By default, Xeoma will automatically detect new versions on startup and update itself. Any files in that directory matching the pattern xeoma_*.tgz will be deleted. The change history for Xeoma is here.ĭuring startup, the desired version of Xeoma is downloaded as needed into the "downloads" subdirectory of the config directory. Values can be "latest", "latest_beta", a version string like "17.5.5", or a URL that starts with " " or "ftp://". The VERSION environment variable can be used to select the version of Xeoma to use. To use this feature, simply add an additional option when running the container: -v /local/path/to/archive-cache:/archive-cache. This can be useful for a large number of cameras, or when using an SSD for the main archive. Using this parameter significantly reduces disk fragmentation. You can optionally use a folder for temporary storage of recording files until they are fully recorded, then moved to the archive. See the notes below for special networking considerations depending on your cameras, and for licensing issues. Otherwise you'll get a "404 Not Found" message when you access the webpage with a browser. NOTE: If you're opening port 10090 for the web server, you need to actually add the web server to at least one camera. To access your xeoma server, simply download the same version from the Xeoma website and set it up to connect to a remote server using the IP address of the docker host and the password you selected. The archive folder holds the saved video recordings. Edit this file, setting the client password, and changing VERSION if you want to run a different version of Xeoma (see below). When run for the first time, a file named nf will be created in the config dir, and the container will exit. To create a template config file, run:ĭocker run -d -name=Xeoma -p 8090:8090 -p 10090:10090 -v /local/path/to/config:/config -v /local/path/to/archive:/archive coppit/xeoma The first is with environment variables:ĭocker run -d -name=Xeoma -p 8090:8090 -p 10090:10090 -v /local/path/to/config:/config -v /local/path/to/archive:/archive -e VERSION='latest' -e PASSWORD='' coppit/xeoma There are two modes of running this container. Make sure you read the EULA as you are effectively agreeing to it by running this docker. Avoid the free version, as it cannot connect to your container. Note the limitations of the trial version however - settings aren't saved, and archived videos get deleted after 1 hour. You can try out Xeoma using the trial version of the software, then purchase it when you are ready. This docker image is available on Docker Hub. You can also configure Xeoma's cameras to be shown in the web UI, which is accessible on port 10090. Run the client on any computer or mobile device, connecting to the server on port 8090. The container is just for the server, and does not have a user interface. It supports a wide range of security cameras, has low CPU overhead, and a very easy-to-use interface. This is a Docker container for running Xeoma, surveillance software developed by Felena Soft. They also have changed over time how the end of the devastating struggle is marked, as well as how it is remembered, say historians. Subsequent politics and propaganda, reassessments and the emergence of new wartime facts, as well as changing cultural tastes and the immediate needs of political leaders and peoples of the day, have altered memory. That isn’t the only difference between how the wartime allies remember a conflict that remains, for some, a dominating, albeit shifting, cultural reference point in contemporary national identities. It was the continuation of a tradition dating to the era of Communist dictator Joseph Stalin, who dismissed the Nazi surrender to the Western allies signed in Reims, France, on May 8, 1945, insisting on another signing of the capitulation the next day in the German capital, Berlin, which had fallen to Soviet forces. Desert and jungle environment, paratroopers, close air support are just a few of the new features that are scheduled for release after the core game.Russia on Saturday marked the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, a day after its erstwhile Western allies in the fight against Nazi Germany. While the development of the core game is well underway and rich in features, constant updates are already planned. Second Front is a passionate project in the making. Finally a worthy opponent in a tactical WWII game! Future plans The AI in Second Front is not scripted instead, it uses plans and emergent behavior to find a way through your defenses or organize its own lines to withstand your attacks. The game is full of decisions and the designers focused on making all of them transparent and immediately evident. Second Front makes the most of the digital medium providing an iconic interface rich with tooltips and easy to understand. Buildings are composed of multiple parts, all of them are destructible and created with unique models. 22 different types of terrain are included together with 80 types of multi-level buildings and more than 70 different unique decorations. Realistic tank fights! Deep tactical gameplayĭon’t be fooled by the nice looks of Second Front, this is no walk in the park! The gameplay uses hexagons and different phases to capture in detail every second of action on the battlefield, in a very similar way to well-known tabletop tactical games. Every unit is painstakingly recreated with abilities like smoke dispensers and hatch-dependent weapons. And remember you can, and must rotate turrets. The arsenal of Second Front includes well known-units like Panzer 4s, Shermans and Stugs to more exotic ones like the Jagdtiger, the Kettenkrad and the T35. Different leaders are also included in every country. More than 200 different vehicles and different infantry units for each nation plus tens of small weapons types for each faction. The intuitive user interface makes it easy to put your imagination at work and the vast array of units means you have the entire American, German and Russian OOB at your disposal. Thanks to the full-fledged editor you will be able to create any kind of battle you have in mind. These are not set-pieces scripted battles but continuous emergent skirmishes with persistent loss, fatigue, and experience. Fight and rest or push your troops to the limit and press the attack. Second Front comes with multiple campaigns covering different fronts of World War II and sporting German, American and Russian units.Scenarios are fought in a 60 turns battle cycle, from morning to night. Playing a tactical game that is deeper than your average X-Com clone, with a competent AI and a powerful editor to create scenarios and campaigns has been the dream of tactical players for long. Why is that? Because Second Front is a project born from the developers’ passion and experience with realistic and deep tabletop tactical board games. Sporting a full-fledged 3D engine and an easy to use user interface, the game is easy to play but hard to master. Second Front is the tactical WWII game that genre enthusiasts always wanted and never really got. # and have 2 and 3 different commits each, respectively. # Your branch and 'origin/development' have diverged, It will not only push and create a new branch in the remote. Git tells you about this right in the output for "git status": $ git status We can do this by using the -set-upstream or the -u flag along with the Git Push command. This information helps tremendously in staying up-to-date. With an upstream branch set, you can simply use the shorthand commands git pull and git push - instead of having to think about the exact parameters like in. (b) if there are 4 commits on the remote upstream branch which you haven't pulled yet, then your local branch is "4 commits behind" its upstream branch. (a) if you have 2 commits in your local repository which you haven't pushed to the remote yet, then your local branch is "2 commits ahead" of its upstream branch. Git can now also tell you about unsynced commits which you haven't pushed or pulled, yet. With an upstream branch set, you can simply use the shorthand commands "git pull" and "git push" - instead of having to think about the exact parameters like in "git push origin development". It fetches and merges changes from the remote server to your working directory. If the remote is fetched successfully, add upstream (tracking) reference, used by argument-less git pull and other commands. git push -u origin master git push -set-upstream origin master. You also have git fetch -set-upstream and git pull -set-upstream. This relationship is very helpful for two reasons: set-upstream is not just about git branch -u or git push -u. Let's also say that you've set the remote "origin/development" as its upstream branch. Let's say that your current local HEAD branch is named "development". Why should you set up an upstream branch for a local branch? In practice, however, in makes lots of sense to see them as counterparts - connected in a so-called "tracking connection". In theory, local and remote branches in Git are completely separate items. The HbA1c test is designed for long-term control to help your doctor monitor your progress and, if need be, adjust your management plans. However, this test is no substitute for standard blood glucose tests, which you can do as often as possible using a glucometer. A higher percentage connotes the blood sugar level is higher than usual, while a lower rate is vice versa. In other words, it states the ratio of glycated hemoglobin in the blood to the total amount of hemoglobin present, which is then expressed as a percentage. The HbA1c percentage is the glucose that has been bound to the blood. Understanding HbA1c Test ResultĪs explained earlier, the normal level HbA1c percentage is 5.7%. Although, it is recommended that people with diabetes keep this level between 6.5 and 7 %, as anything higher could be dangerous. For diabetes, the HbA1c level is always higher than 6.5%. If the glucose levels are higher than normal, as in prediabetes, it ranges between 5.7 to 6.4%. Normal HbA1c LevelsĪ healthy individual's average blood glucose level is usually below 5.7%, which signifies a normal blood sugar level. Hence, you cannot use these two interchangeably. The HbA1c test is also used to monitor blood glucose levels in people with diabetes since it serves as a measure, whereas the HbA1 does not serve this purpose. Simply put, HbA1c is a normal component of hemoglobin, while HbA1c is an abnormal type of hemoglobin. It is the level of the HbA1c that forms the basis of the HbA1c test. Hemoglobin A1c, on the other hand, is a subtype of the HbA1 formed when glucose molecules in the blood attach to hemoglobin itself. It is a combination of a protein component called globin and a sugar molecule called glucose. Hemoglobin A1 is a normal hemoglobin component present in most healthy individuals. After this, a machine measures the hemoglobin molecules bound to glucose to report the A1c levels as a percentage. A reagent is added to the sample to separate the glycated molecules from the normal ones. This means that if more glucose is in the blood, glycation increases, increasing the number of glycated hemoglobin molecules.įor the HbA1c test, analysis is done in the laboratory after a blood sample has been taken. Now the rate of glycation is directly proportional to the glucose concentration in the blood. When glucose from the food you take gets absorbed into the bloodstream and combines with hemoglobin, the process is called glycation. The entire test’s duration is usually less than five minutes and does not require fasting or prior preparation. The HbA1c test is carried out by a health professional who takes a blood sample from a vein in the arm using a small needle and then collects it in a test tube taken to the laboratory. This helps diagnose diabetes and monitor it long-term. Hence the test is performed at these intervals. Before being replaced, red blood cells have an average lifespan of four months. It is a laboratory blood test that measures the average blood sugar level in the body over 2 to 3 months. Glycated hemoglobin test, glycohemoglobin test, and glycosylated hemoglobin test are all other names for the HbA1C test. This is when it becomes HbA1c which serves as a measure to measure A1c levels. However, while transporting oxygen, hemoglobin could bind to excess glucose or sugar in the blood. HbA1 is the common variant of this protein present in healthy individuals. “Hb” is an acronym for hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells whose primary function is to carry oxygen inhaled around the body. But how important is it in monitoring one’s health status, and what can affect its results? We will discuss these and many more as you read further. The HbA1c test is one such medical test to monitor a condition.Īs with most medical tests, it begins and ends with taking a blood sample which is then analyzed in a laboratory. Other times, they are carried out as part of routine medical check-ups. Usually, these tests are done to diagnose certain diseases. If it has a plastic screw-on cap, the recovery tank is not pressurized. You can tell if the reservoir is pressurized or not by the type of cap on the tank. On most newer vehicles, the coolant recovery tank is not pressurized.īut on many older applications (1990s), it may be pressurized. Coolant FlowĪ hose or pair of hoses connect the coolant recovery tank to the radiator and allow coolant to circulate back and forth between the radiator and tank as the coolant temperature and pressure changes. The air and coolant inside the tank may be under pressure (especially if the engine is overheating) and may spray out of the opening with great force and burn you! Wait at least 20 minutes or more after shutting the engine off to open the cap. WARNING: NEVER open a coolant reservoir cap or radiator cap when the engine is hot. If the coolant level inside the tank is lower than the COLD or ADD mark when the engine is cold, coolant needs to be added to the reservoir to bring the level up above the mark. The highest level is often marked HOT FULL.Ī lower COLD or ADD mark may be on the tank indicating the lowest level the coolant should be at when the engine is cold. The coolant level inside the tank should be maintained so that it does not exceed the highest marking when the engine is at normal operating temperature. The tank has markings on the side that tell you when the coolant level is low. The plastic tank is translucent so you can see the fluid level inside. It might be mounted near the radiator, on an inner fender or against the firewall. The coolant recovery tank is typically a white molded plastic tank. So the radiator is connected to an external reservoir that serves as both an expansion tank and coolant recovery tank. With modern coolant recovery systems, the radiator cap is no longer on top of the radiator, and the radiator has no upper tank to allow for expansion. If the coolant got too hot, it would force its way past the spring-loaded radiator cap to relieve pressure, and any coolant that escaped would flow through a discharge tube into a recovery tank. In older top fill radiators, an inch or two of dead air space in the top of the radiator provided the necessary room for expansion. Low-profile crossflow radiators do not have top tanks like older top fill radiators, so a separate recovery tank mounted somewhere under the hood serves as both a coolant reservoir and expansion/recovery tank.Īs engine coolant heats up, it expands. The coolant recovery system is an important part of a vehicles cooling system. The idea of matcha is to drink it quickly. Just run it under the tap and stand it on its base so the tines are sticking up in the air (or return it to its holder, if you have one.) Wash and dry your bowl, put away your tea and any leftover treats. But when training and in less formal situations, the whisk can be rinsed out, dried and kept for future use. In the traditional tea ceremony, the whisk is only used once and then thrown away. After you are done, it is also traditional to examine your tea bowl, admiring its shape and glaze. Tradition dictates that you not set the bowl down until you have drunk all the tea. Then pick up the bowl in two hands and take small, quick sips of your delicious matcha. Once the water and tea are in the bowl, whisk back and forth in a zig-zag with the chasen, lightly touching the bottom of the bowl.Measure about 1/2 to 3/4 of a teaspoon of matcha into the bowl. Traditionally, tea is measured with a bamboo scoop called a chashaku.Use the hot water to wet your whisk and bowl, then pour the water out of the bowl and dry it!.It’s important not for force the tea through the strainer, just shake it through, maybe giving the final little clumps a push. Good matcha will be a little clumpy, so its essential to sift the tea through a fine mesh strainer. While your water is heating, find your sifter, bowl, and whisk, and plate up your tea treats. Matcha is made with water that has come to a boil and then left to sit a few minutes. Here will instruct you how to sift the matcha tea> Caffeine tends to be addictive so drinking too much of it can lead to unpleasant withdrawal symptoms if you ever stop drinking it. Five cups of matcha should be enough to keep you energized throughout your day. This means that about 5.5 cups of matcha per day is safe to drink. The amount of caffeine that should be consumed in one day by the average adult is 400mg. How many cups of matcha tea to drink is safe> This definitely won’t see you motivated throughout the day. Plus, where matcha helps to balance your blood sugar levels and give you sustained energy over several hours, sugar creates a rollercoaster of dips and crashes.
